Day One - Lilongwe
Your group will be met at Kamuzu International Airport, Lilongwe to transport you by private minibus for the approx 35-45 minute journey to your city accommodation.
Tonight's accommodation will be at Kumbali Country Lodge in ensuite rooms on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate. The hotel has an onsite restaurant and swimming pool.
Day Two to Five - South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Zambian border at 8.30am. Your driver will be able to assist you at the border posts for a smooth crossing and you should arrive at Msandile River Lodge in time for a late lunch before your first afternoon game activity in South Luangwa National Park.
Your group will spend three nights at Msandile River Lodge in ensuite chalets. All your meals will be included along with two game drives per day - a total of six during your stay in South Luangwa.
South Luangwa National Park boasts an abundance of game within a short drive from the safari lodges, with Leopard, Lion, Wild dog, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo, Antelope, Zebra, to name but a few, along with a bird population of over 400 species.
Day Five - Lilongwe
After your final morning game activity and breakfast, you’ll depart South Luangwa for the half day journey back to Kumbali Country Lodge in Lilongwe. You’ll be staying in ensuite rooms on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate again.
Day Six to Eight - Mumbo Island
This morning your group will depart for Cape Maclear, a journey of approx 4 hours to take you to the beautiful lakeshore in time for a late lunch. In the afternoon you’ll take the 3pm boat to Mumbo island. The boat ride through the beautiful Lake Malawi National Park takes approx 1 hour.
Accommodation for the next two nights will be on Mumbo island in ensuite safari tents on a full board basis. Activities such as hiking, snorkelling and kayaking are included. Additional options of scuba diving, massages and sunset boat trips are also available.

Day Eight to Ten - Cape Maclear
After lunch, your boat will depart Mumbo island for the trip back to mainland where you will be met by your driver and driven 30 minutes through Cape Maclear to your accommodation at Chembe Eagles Nest.
You’ll be staying in the air-conditioned ensuite rooms with private verandahs on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis for two nights.
A lakeshore lodge like no other, Chembe Eagles Nest sits next to the steep slopes which mark the land section of Lake Malawi National Park. The lodge has delicious food, a fully stocked bar, pool and the option of a sunset catamaran trip.
Day Ten to Twelve - Blue Zebra Island Lodge
An early rise this morning as your group will be heading off straight after breakfast for the 3 hour journey to Senga Bay. This is where you’ll transfer by boat to the beautiful Blue Zebra Island Lodge in time for lunch. You’ll spend the next two nights in this luxury resort staying in an executive chalet on a full board basis.

Day Twelve - Senga Bay
After a last leisurely breakfast on Blue Zebra Island you'll be transferred by speedboat back to Senga Bay on the mainland where just down the road lies Casa Costantini - several beautifully designed cottages. The cottages have two swimming pools and private decks overlooking the beach as well as comfortable seating areas dotted around the luscious gardens. The food and service is second to none and you'll have a relaxing last night of your holiday surrounded by impeccable style.
Day Thirteen - Lilongwe Airport, Departure Day
This morning after breakfast your driver will be waiting to take you directly to Kamuzu International Airport, approx 90 minutes away, ready for your departing flight.
