Tour Plan
Day One - Lilongwe
Your driver will meet you at Kamuzu International Airport, Lilongwe to transport you by private taxi for the approx 35-45 minute journey to your city accommodation.
Tonight's accommodation will be at Kumbali Country Lodge in a double ensuite room on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate. The lodge is set in luscious green surroundings and has an outdoor swimming pool.
Day Two to Six - South Luangwa National Park
After breakfast, you’ll depart Kumbali Country Lodge for the Zambian border at 8am. Your driver will be able to assist you at the border posts for a smooth crossing and you should arrive at Msandile River Lodge in time for a late lunch before your first game activity in South Luangwa National Park in the afternoon.
You will spend four nights at Msandile River Lodge in an ensuite chalet. All your meals will be included along with two game activities per day.
South Luangwa National Park boasts an abundance of game within a short drive from the safari lodges, with Leopard, Lion, Wild dog, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo, Antelope, Zebra, to name but a few, along with a bird population of over 400 species. You'll enjoy a total of eight game drives during your stay.
Day Six - Lilongwe
After your final morning game activity and breakfast, you’ll depart South Luangwa for the half day journey back to your Lilongwe hotel, Kumbali Country Lodge. You’ll be staying in a double ensuite room on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate.
Day Seven to Ten - Blue Zebra Island Lodge
After breakfast, you’ll depart at 9.30am for the 2 hour journey to Senga Bay. This is where the speed boat will collect you for the 20 minute journey over to Blue Zebra Island Lodge.
Lunch will be served on arrival. You will be staying in an Executive Chalet for your three night stay on a full board basis.
Blue Zebra offers comfort and style as well as a fantastic selection of activities like walking one of their trails to enjoy the undisturbed nature or taking an afternoon kayak. With luxury ensuite safari tents, incredible food, fully stocked bar and an infinity pool - Blue Zebra caters for your every need.
On your last morning you'll take a private boat off the island where your driver will be waiting to take you directly to Kamuzu International Airport, approx. 90 minutes from Senga Bay, ready for your departing flight.
