Tour Plan
Day One to Five
After arriving at Lilongwe International Airport, you'll transfer for a short 1 hour flight to Mfuwe Airport near South Luangwa National Park, Zambia.
Accommodation for the next 4 nights will be at Shawa Luangwa Camp, a small, intimate, eco-friendly bush camp overlooking the Luangwa River in the Nsefu Sector. This is one of the park’s most untouched areas offering excellent year-round game viewing with both morning and evening game drives, and walking safaris available. South Luangwa National Park boasts an abundance of game with Leopard, Lion, Wild dog, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo, Antelope, Zebra, to name but a few, along with a bird population of over 400 species.
Day Five to Nine - Likoma Island
After your morning game drive and breakfast, you’ll fly onto Likoma Island for 4 nights of lakeshore luxury.
Accommodation for the next three nights on Likoma island will be at Kaya Mawa resort in a private ensuite room (upgrades to pool suites & private houses available) on a full board basis, including non-premium drinks.
Kaya Mawa is a beachside paradise situated on Likoma island with included activities such as picnic lunches, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, snorkelling and kayaking and the additional option of spa trips, scuba diving, water sports or fishing trips meaning you can be as relaxed or as adventurous as you like.
On your final morning after breakfast, you'll fly back to Lilongwe airport where your tour finishes.
